Adrian Plass is a writer and speaker who has produced over thirty five books in the last twenty years. The best known of these is probably The Sacred Diary of Adrian Plass, a gentle satire on the modern church, which has sold hundreds of thousands of copies worldwide. Adrian's NEW Sacred Diary book will be officially launched in April but is available to purchase at tour venues at £10.00 per copy (RRP £14.99).

A popular speaker, his live presentations combine humour, poetry, and story telling – largely revolving around his own inadequacies and struggles as a Christian and a human being. A ‘bemused Anglican’, Adrian and his wife Bridget live in Northumbria. In recent years Adrian has been joined by Bridget in presenting a more varied and dramatic style of performance. They met at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and have found particular satisfaction in being allowed to ‘do a bit of acting’. We are looking forward to experiencing their unique perspective on ‘riding the storm’ of life!

Dave Bilbrough is recognised as one of Britain’s foremost worship leaders and songwriters. With a wide appeal that spans all Christian denominations and networks, songs such as Abba Father, All hail the Lamb, I am a new creation, Sound the Trumpet, Holy Ground, How Wonderful and Let there be Love have been a staple part of many a church’s repertoire.
Drawing on folk roots and world music influences, his ministry brings an emphasis on the grace and faithfulness of God, uninhibited praise and reconciliation. We are delighted that he is joining us on this 2013 tour!

This is a charity fundraising event in aid of The Sailors’ Society

The Sailors’ Society provides welfare support for merchant seafarers on board ship and in port. We are an international charity who sustain a network of professionally trained Chaplains, working as ship visitors in ports around the globe. Through this network we board ships arriving in port and extend our reach to thousands of seafarers each year to enhance their well-being. We are able to relieve their loneliness, isolation and sometimes distress, and can assist them if they require help from one or more of our services.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
